LABO Camp PHOTOS

Tomo was the captain of Deneb 2. She helped my lighting the campfire on the last night of camp.
We (the campers) particiated in several rituals, songs, and chants. The IY group also led a song for everyone.

The setting sun was beautiful behind the mountains.

Tomo and I chose this Outdoor Activity... we had to walk a couple of miles in the woods and in the mountains. Most of the time we were in the river, up to our waist in FREEZING cold water. Our guide told us that it was glacial snow from the top of mt. Daisen.

We wore socks over our shoes. I wore my silver crocs and they were a life saver!

I had sooooo much fun!

Great to see you and your adventures again. The hiking photo reminded me of Peter Pan "We're following the leader." Nothing like a brisk glacier water stroll to wake you up!

I bet it took no time to roast the marshmallows by the looks of the fire. The mountains look so green and lush.

For all those wondering about the deleted comments it was I her mother that forgot how to work the "choose your identity" and hit enter too many times and thought it was the shift key.
Just wanted to stop rumors before they started.

So maybe fires are universal camp ceremony centerpieces, huh? I bet it felt warm after a hike in the glacial waters! I would have chosen that outdoor activity too! Even though I wouldn't have terribly trendy silver crocs! ;-)

I cannot believe you'll be home soon!

We love you and are so proud of you!

Love,
Patty

It's pretty sweet that your getting to travel around Japan with someone who knows that lay of the land. That is definitely the way to scope out a local. Know that you've started travailing I bet you will never stop.

I agree with Jonathan - I hope you never stop travelling - you GO girl!
